Footballer Achraf Hakimi’s world has been turned upside down after his wife, Hiba Abouk, filed for divorce and wanted half of his property, according to multiple media reports.
In an unexpected twist, the court informed her that, her millionaire husband legally owns nothing because all of his assets are registered in his mother’s name.
Achraf Hakimi, the Moroccan International and PSG star, receives a remarkable €1 million every month.
However, 80% of that income is placed into his mother’s account, Mrs. Fatima.
The 24-year-old football star appears to have no registered property, cars, residences, jewels, or even clothes.
The couple started dating in 2018, when Hakimi was 19 and Abouk was 31.
As they separated, Abouk, now 36, expected to get an equal portion of Hakimi’s €70 million wealth.
However, the paperwork shows that all of his mother’s assets are registered in his name, leaving Abouk with no legal claim to them.

In an odd arrangement, anytime Hakimi wanted something, he asked his mother, who then bought it for him.
This dynamic has enabled him to avoid registering any assets in his own name.
The divorce procedures follow an investigation initiated last month after allegations that the star defender assaulted a woman he invited to his matrimonial home while his wife and family were in Dubai.
As the story progresses, questions emerge about Hakimi’s motivation for keeping all of his assets in his mother’s name.
As well as the potential impact on the ongoing investigation and divorce settlement.
