Emmanuel Kojo Jones-Mensah, the Chief Executive Officer of Empire Domus Group Ltd, has entered the contest to become the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Keta Constituency.
Emmanuel Kojo Jones Mensah, a Ghanaian business entrepreneur, and socialite has picked up his nomination forms for the 2024 parliamentary elections after proclaiming his intention to run.
To demonstrate his seriousness, Kojo Jones shared a post on social media on Thursday, February 23, 2023, outlining his motivation for running for a legislative representative for the Keta Constituency.
The business entrepreneur, whose wedding caught Ghana by storm in 2022, is poised to enter the legislative chamber on the National Democratic Congress ticket.
“I have officially picked up [forms for] the upcoming NDC parliamentary in Keta slated for May 13,” he declared.
“In coming to the decision to enter the parliamentary race, I have taken cognisance of the current state of the underdevelopment, alarming poverty level, youth unemployment, failing educational standards, and general decadence of Keta Constituency, to which there is urgent need for paradigm shift.”

Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey is the Keta Constituency Member of Parliament (MP).
Mr. Jones-Mensah acknowledges that the constituency is a “spiritual home” for the NDC and “a significant part” of the World Bank’s definition of the party.
“It belies the fact that serious, strategic, and transformational leadership must always come from Keta Constituency in order to propel it and Anlo State forward.”
He emphasized that he had been a committed member of the NDC.
