Manchester United defeated La Liga leaders Barcelona 2-1 at Old Trafford on Thursday night to win the play-off tie 4-3 on aggregate.
After qualifying as group winners, Arsenal will play the second leg of their last 16 tie at home against Sporting Lisbon, while Manchester United will first host Real Betis at Old Trafford.
The Europa League’s last-16 matches will be held on March 9 and 16.

Premier League leaders, Arsenal avoided the knockout round play-offs after winning Group A with five wins out of six games.
Sporting Lisbon, who finished fourth in the Portuguese top flight, defeated Danish club Midtjylland 5 -1 in their Champions League play-off after finishing third in their group.
Meanwhile, Manuel Pellegrini’s Real Betis sit fifth in La Liga and had the best record in the Europa League group stage, winning five games and losing one.
Sevilla will face Fenerbahce, while Jose Mourinho’s Roma will face Real Sociedad, who topped Manchester United’s group.
The eight Europa League group winners were paired against the eight clubs that advanced through the knockout round play-off matches, with clubs from the same association not permitted to be drawn against each other.
