On Friday, February 3, 2023, celebrated British Hollywood film actor of Ghanaian(mother) & Sierra Leone (mother) descent, Idris Elba, paid a visit to President Nana Akuffo-Addo at the Jubilee House, where he expressed his plans to build a modern film studio in Ghana as part of his initiatives to build a movie studio in West Africa.
According to Idris Elba, “He is currently directing a film and would like to shoot some of it in Ghana. That film will be here in December.
