The owner and CEO of Twitter, Inc.; the Boring Company’s founder; the co-founder of Neuralink and OpenAI; and the president of the philanthropic Musk Foundation.
As of April 10, 2023, his net worth was estimated to be over $192 billion, owing mostly to his ownership shares in Tesla and SpaceX.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index and Forbes’ real-time billionaires’ list, Musk is the world’s second-richest person.
Early life and Education
Elon Reeve Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa, one of the country’s main cities.
Musk is of British and Pennsylvania Dutch descent.
Maye Musk, a model and nutritionist from Saskatchewan, Canada, raised in South Africa, is his mother.
Errol Musk, his father, is a South African electromechanical engineer, pilot, sailor, and consultant.
And also a property developer who was a half-owner of an emerald mine in Zambia near Lake Tanganyika.
Kimbal, Musk’s younger brother, and Tosca, Musk’s younger sister, are his siblings.
Musk’s family was wealthy during his youth.

Career
Musk was born in Pretoria, South Africa, and briefly attended the University of Pretoria before moving to Canada at the age of 18.

Musk met his first wife, Canadian Justine Wilson, in 2000 while attending Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada.
